Free Shipping and Returns

We process all website orders Monday - Friday between 9AM and 6PM PST. Orders placed over the weekend or after hours will be processed the following business day unless otherwise stated.

Order Confirmation

Following your purchase, our system will automatically dispatch an order confirmation email to the address you provided. This email signifies that we have received your order and have pre-authorized your credit card for purchase verification. After receiving your order, we will immediately send the order to our suppliers for shipment. Once we've confirmed the order you purchased is in stock we will ship the item within 5 business days of the date on which you placed your order unless you receive communication from us. If the product is out of stock, we will reach out to you via email and will void the pre-authorization if you so choose.

Order Shipment

Once we've determined that your order is in stock, we will process all charges to your credit card and ship the product within 5 business days of the date on which you placed your order. Immediately following shipment, we will dispatch a tracking code to the email you provided us at the time you placed your order. If, after 6 business days, you have not received your tracking information please contact us immediately at support@backyardoas.com.

Damages

Upon arrival, please inspect any and all packaging of your orders. If any damage is noted on the packaging, make note of it at the time you sign for the delivery as this usually means the shipping company is at fault. If the items you ordered arrive damaged, please send photos of the damage to support@backyardoas.com and we will begin the insurance claim process on your behalf. We will also get in contact with the supplier of that product and begin the process of replacing your item.

Cancellations

Orders that are cancelled from the time you placed your order will be charged with a 3.5% administration fee regardless if they have shipped or not. If the order has shipped, the cancellation will be considered a return at which point the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges and restocking fees. It is our strict policy to only issue refunds to the credit card that was used when originally placing the order.

Please note that for made to order items, we can not accept returns or cancellations.

Returns & Exchanges

It is our policy to only accept returns and make exchanges within 30 days of the date that an order was delivered (some exceptions do apply, please consult the manufacturers and view the table below for per-product return policies). For a successful return, the order must be in original factory condition and include original packaging, warranty information, manuals, accessories, and anything else it came with. If the item is damaged in any way, the product will not be available for a full refund. Depending on the product, there may be a restocking fee. Customers are responsible for restocking fees as well as return shipping.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment in 8-10 business days.

International Shipping

Please note that when ordering internationally (i.e. outside of the contiguous United States) you may be charged duties & taxes depending on the product you ordered. It is the customer's responsibility to check duty & tax laws before ordering. It may be necessary to contract a customs broker to facilitate bringing a product into any country – this is the customer’s responsibility.
