Most Canopia covers, like the Stockholm and Feria, attach to your home's exterior wall to extend the roofline. Some enclosure models can be configured freestanding depending on your layout.
Do patio covers keep the rain out?
Yes. The polycarbonate roof panels are waterproof and channel rain off to the sides while blocking UV. Enclosure models add screen or glass walls to keep out wind and bugs.
What are patio cover roofs made of?
Canopia uses rust-proof aluminum framing with impact-resistant polycarbonate roof panels. They are far lighter and safer than glass, won't shatter, and diffuse harsh sunlight into soft shade.
Can I install a patio cover myself?
Yes. Canopia covers ship as pre-engineered kits with pre-cut parts and instructions; a typical install takes a weekend with two people and basic tools, no contractor required.
