There seems to be pin holes in my cover when the light shines in.
In most cases, these arenāt holes. The dying process of the fabric can cause variations in color and does not impact the durability of your cover. To be certain, you can do a water test on a sunny day. Use a garden hose to gently spray the outside of the cover. Then check inside the tent for any leaks.
How do I clean the cover?
Use a soft sponge or a soft brush without sharp edges and a solution of warm water and dish soap. Do not use harsh abrasive chemicals or bleach. Rinse the solution off with a garden hose.
How do I fix a hole or tear in the cover?
A common vinyl patch kit or fabric patch can be used with 3M spray adhesive number 90. You can also use a transparent duct tape to fix holes or tears.Ā Do NOT use a spray sealant to repair tears or holes.
How do I remove snow from the cover?
Immediately remove any accumulated snow or ice from the roof structure with a broom, mop, or soft-sided instrument. Use extreme caution when removing snow from the cover-always remove from outside the structure. DO NOTĀ use hard-edged tools or instruments like rakes or shovels since this could result in punctures to the cover.Ā When removing snow, remove the snow alternating to each side of the shelter. Remove a 4 ft. section of snow from one side then from the other side, continuing down the length of the building.
