Return Policy: Outdoor Living Today does not accept returns in general (contact us for your special circumstance). Both Backyard Oasis and OLT will work with you to replace all parts and damages though the warranty. Order Cancellation must be submitted to support@backyardoas.com ASAP if you would like to cancel before shipping.

Any order can be canceled within 24 hours of payment.

After 24 hours, most orders will be packed and placed for pickup by the shipping carriers. Once picked up, the item will be considered shipped.

Custom, Built-To-Order, on demand products cannot be canceled or refunded after 24 hours, as these products are put into production specifically for your order.

Damaged Items:

All orders are protected by the manufacturer's warranty. We will repair, or replace any item damaged during shipment or faulty upon arrival as long as the documentation is provided.

Delivery Guidelines and Damage Policy

On The Day Of The Delivery

Just a heads up – your pergola kit will be delivered on a weekday (Monday-Friday) between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. To make sure everything goes smoothly, please give the delivery company a call on the morning of your scheduled delivery day. And remember, someone will need to be there to sign for it when it arrives!

When The Truck Arrives

While the delivery team is there, please double-check that the shipping label on the pergola kit has your correct name and address. If anything seems off, just give us a call right away. Also, it's always a good idea to snap a few photos of the package while it's still on the truck – just for peace of mind!

How To Hand-Offload Your Pergola

To make things super easy for the delivery team, please clear a path for the truck and make sure there's enough space for them to unload. They'll need about 15 minutes to get everything off the truck, and extra time might mean an extra charge. Don't worry about opening the crate – the lid is just resting on top and the side panel is lightly screwed on for easy access. Most pieces weigh less than 50 pounds, but it's always helpful to have a friend around to lend a hand with the unloading!

Inspecting Damages

Before you sign for your pergola kit, take a moment to look it over. If you spot any damage, simply write "Damaged" on the delivery receipt. Snap some photos of anything that looks concerning, including the pallet, and give our customer support team a call. We'll happily replace any broken or damaged pieces as long as "Damaged" is noted on the delivery receipt. If the damage is extensive, like lots of broken pieces and missing plastic wrap, you can refuse the delivery.
