Who makes Duramax sheds?
Duramax is a division of US Polymers, Inc., a leading California extruder of poly vinyl products including fencing, sheds, pipes, shutters and decks.
What are the key materials of these sheds?
Duramax products both vinyl sheds and metal sheds. The vinyl sheds have walls and roof panels that are made from rigid PVC materials and attached to a galvanized steel frame. Additives are added to ensure the vinyl panels will not warp, bend, peel, crack or turn yellow under the sun.
Are Dumarax Vinyl sheds paintable?
We do not recommend painting the shed. If you insist, you should use paint made specifically for PVC. However, the paint will require future maintenance and eliminate the advantages of its durability.
Are these sheds fire resistant?
Yes these sheds are made from vinyl which is naturally fire-resistant. While they don't guarantee complete fire immunity, they do offer a higher level of fire resistance compared to sheds made from wood or other flammable materials.
